Ms. Spellman, a native of Warner Robins, GA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University and an MBA with a Project Management concentration for Keller Graduate School of Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She also earned a Master of Science in Management with an Information Systems concentration from Troy University. She completed Cornell University's Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship program in May of 2023.

She has served on the Board of Directors of professional organizations and currently serves as Secretary of the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) Board of Directors, and Secretary of the Central Georgia Coalition of African American Businesses (CGCAAB) and is a Champion Member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP).

During her corporate career, Ms. Spellman worked for large corporations managing multi-million-dollar IT projects from initiation to closing. She serves as an online adjunct for Indiana Wesleyan University and facilitates project management and quality/decision making courses in the MBA and undergraduate programs.
She believes that strong relationships, knowledge, faith, and patience are the keys to success and enjoys sharing information with others that will help them become successful.
